The problem

A hundred products in the store, and budget to film two

A single shoot needs a camera operator, lighting, a location, a voice artist and an editor, and produces a video for one product.

  1. Everything else stays as still photos and written copy, though a shopper's eye stops on what moves.

  2. Where a video exists, it often has no sound, or a voice-over that does not sound like the customer. An offer read in stiff formal Arabic to a shopper in Riyadh or Cairo comes across as a translated ad, not a store that knows her.

  3. Then there are the seasons: Ramadan, Eid, White Friday, end of season. Each one needs a new version with a new price within days, not weeks.

Why Vocla

What Vocla Video does for a store owner

  • From a script to a finished video

You write the script; the voice-over is generated first, then split into short scenes timed to the speech, each with a visual prompt you can edit.

  • You approve the scenes before rendering

You see a still for every scene. Change the prompt and retry until you are happy, then render. If a scene disappoints afterwards, regenerate that one alone.

  • A voice-over in the market's dialect

The speech is not produced by the video model but by a Vocla voice: Saudi, Emirati, Kuwaiti, Egyptian, Jordanian, Lebanese, Maghrebi Darija or Modern Standard Arabic, with the tashkeel tools and the pronunciation dictionary.

  • Burned-in Arabic captions that read correctly

Arabic text is not drawn inside the scene. It is added as a separate track timed to the speech, right to left with proper letter shaping, so the offer lands even with the sound off.

  • Starting from your real product photo

From Starter up you upload a product photo as the scene's first frame, so the video starts from how the product really looks, not from the model's idea of it.

How it works

From a photo and a description to an MP4 on the product page

  1. Step 1

    Write a four-sentence script

A line that grabs attention, then one benefit, then the offer, then what you want the viewer to do. Thirty-five to forty words fills about fifteen seconds.

  2. Step 2

Choose the voice, dialect and format

Pick a voice in the dialect of the market you sell in, then the format: 9:16 for vertical clips and, from Professional, 1:1 for feed posts and 16:9 for the product page.

  3. Step 3

Review the scene plan and the stills

Read each scene's prompt and make sure it does not ask for writing on the packaging or for a logo. Then approve the stills one by one.

  4. Step 4

    Render and watch every second

The render lays in the voice, the burned-in captions and an optional music bed. Watch it all and compare the product with the real thing before you publish.

  5. Step 5

    Download and upload it yourself

Download the MP4 and add it to your online store's product page or your ad account. There is no direct connection to any store or ad platform.

Cost

What does one product video cost?

Video is charged per rendered second: 150 credits a second on the Lite tier and 400 on Standard, plus the voice-over by its characters. You see the exact figure before rendering, and credits for a scene that fails are refunded.

Vocla Video starts with the Starter plan at $4.99 a month: 30 seconds a month and up to 15 seconds per video, including starting from a product photo. Professional at $29 a month raises that to 300 seconds a month and 60 seconds per video. The Free plan does not include video.

The numbers

Quick maths

Worked example: a 15-second Lite video with 3 storyboard stills and music is about 2,970 credits, plus the voice-over.

  • Vocla Video starts with Starter, at $4.99 a month. The Free plan has no video.
  • Starter: 30 seconds of video a month, up to 15 seconds per video at 720p. Professional: 300 seconds a month, up to 60 seconds per video at 1080p.
  • Each rendered second costs 150 credits on the Lite tier or 400 on Standard, plus 200 credits per storyboard still and 120 for a music bed. The voice-over is billed as text to speech.

Figures use the current plans and default credit rates. The exact cost is always shown in the app before you confirm.

Publishing this for a business?

The Free plan is for personal use and evaluation. Audio and video you publish for a brand, a client or a monetised channel need commercial usage rights, which start with the Starter plan.

Questions people ask

How do I make an AI video for a product in my online store?

Write a short script about the product in Vocla Video, choose the voice, dialect and format, then review the scene plan and approve the stills. The render is an MP4 with scenes, voice-over and burned-in captions that you download and upload to your online store.

Will the product in the video look exactly like the real one?

Not in every frame. The scenes are AI-generated, and small packaging text, the logo and fine details can shift as the camera moves. Starting from a real product photo, available from Starter, brings the result much closer, but check every scene before publishing.

Can I upload a product photo and turn it into a video?

Yes, from Starter up: the photo you upload becomes the first frame and the motion is built around it, and the other scenes come from the text prompt. Use a sharp photo with soft light and a plain background, with no text or stickers on it.

Does Vocla connect to my store or my ad platform?

No. There is no direct connection to any store platform or ad account. You download an MP4 and upload it yourself to the product page, your ads or social platforms.

How long should a product video be?

For most products, fifteen to thirty seconds: an opening line, a benefit, an offer and a call to order. Longer suits a feature walk-through on the product page. The maximum length depends on your plan, and since cost is per second, keeping it tight saves credits.

Can I use the video in paid ads?

Yes, commercial use is included on the plans that have video. Starter videos carry a watermark, so paid ads are better served by Professional. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the price, the offer and your product claims, and for labelling the ad as the platform requires.
