What is Yemeni Arabic text to speech?

Yemen has a large audience at home and abroad, and Yemeni creators are active on YouTube, TikTok and podcasts. A Yemeni voice gives stories, ads and comedy clips the flavour Yemeni listeners know.

Vocla steers the voice to the Sanaani dialect and its familiar words: «أشتي» (I want), «ذلحين» (now), «مابش» (there isn't) and «با» before a verb for the future, as in «باروح». Qaf is pronounced as a hard g in most speech.

Tips for writing in Yemeni Arabic

  • Write «أشتي», «ذلحين» and «مابش» as they are said.

  • For Yemeni dialects other than Sanaani, use their vocabulary in the script: the words bring the result closer to your region.

  • For stories and long clips, split the script into scenes and generate each one separately to control the delivery.
