01How to make an Eid greeting image with your name

Every Eid, the same card does the rounds on WhatsApp, or someone finds an app that stamps their name in broken Arabic over a stock picture. You can now design the card from scratch with your own name, your family name or your company, from one sentence in English or Arabic.

1. 1Open Images: it's in the sidebar of the Vocla web app; stay on the Create tab.
2. 2Pick a preset: Story & Reels for stories, Instagram post for the feed, or Freestyle with a square shape.
3. 3Describe the card: colours, ornament and mood, then the greeting and name «in quotes».
4. 4Ask for four images: each one comes out with a different design, so you can choose.
5. 5Download and share: or edit the result, or turn it into a voiced Eid video.

The quotes do the heavy lifting. Anything between them is drawn into the image exactly as typed, with properly joined Arabic letters, so «عيدكم مبارك» never comes out disconnected or backwards.

02Expected Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha dates in 2027

Make your card a few days early; nobody has time on the night before Eid. These are expected dates from calendar calculations. The official date follows the moon sighting and can differ by a day between countries:

Dates are estimates as of October 2026, from the Saudi public holiday listings on officeholidays.com (Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha pages for 2027), based on the Umm al-Qura calendar. The final date is announced after the moon sighting.

03Eid greetings to write on the card

Keep the phrase short; a phone screen gives it about a second. If your audience reads Arabic, the Arabic greeting carries more warmth than the English one, and you can put both on the card:

Writing to Egyptian friends or clients? They say «كل سنة وانتم طيبين». Levantine audiences say «ينعاد عليكم». A line in their own dialect lands better than a generic card.

04Prompts for family Eid cards with a name

Copy a prompt and swap the quoted greeting and name for your own. The description can be English; the quoted Arabic is written exactly:

Short on time? Type “gold Eid card for the Al Rashid family” and press Improve. The studio fills in the detail in the same language, keeps anything in quotes exactly, and charges nothing for it.

05Eid cards for companies and stores

A company Eid card wants a calmer touch: brand colours, the company name clearly set, a formal phrase. For a store, the same card can carry the Eid offer:

Want your actual logo on the card? That takes a reference photo: add the logo image with the prompt and write “place the logo from the reference photo at the bottom of the card, unchanged”. Reference photos and editing start on Creator. Check the logo in the result, because fine details can shift slightly.

06Add Eid to a family photo you already have

The card doesn't have to be a new design. Got a good family photo from last Eid, or the whole family at the grandparents' house? Upload it in the Edit tab and write one sentence that adds the Eid mood and protects the faces. People love these, because they see their own family rather than a stock picture.

The mistakes that spoil an Eid card are always the same: no quotes around the name, a paragraph instead of two lines, a wide shape for a vertical story, and light text on a light background. Check the spelling of the name letter by letter before it goes to a hundred people.

07Card sizes: story, post and square

Pick the shape before you generate. Cropping later cuts off the name or the ornament. Here are the studio presets and where each one fits:

• Leave margins: in a story, keep the name away from the very top and bottom, where app buttons sit.
• Strong contrast: gold on deep green or white on navy stays readable on a dimmed phone.
• Right quality: Vox Image Pro for text-heavy cards, Vox Image for most cards, Lite for quick tests.
• One version per platform: reuse the same prompt for the story and the post and change only the preset.

08Turn the card into an Eid video, and what it costs

Any image from the studio can go to Vocla Video and become a short Eid clip with an Arabic voice in the dialect you choose and Arabic captions on screen. It works well for a company account or the family group. Plans without video show an upgrade option.
