Saudi National Day Video: Najdi Scripts, Scene Ideas and the Rules to Follow

01Before you design anything: the official identity and flag rules

Saudi National Day falls on 23 September every year and is one of the Kingdom's biggest marketing moments. Almost every business wants to join in with a greeting or an offer, so attention that week is hotly contested. Before the creative, two things shape the whole video.

First, the official identity. Each year the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) announces the National Day identity and slogan and publishes guidelines covering the logo, colours, fonts, visual elements and how to apply them in advertising. For the 96th National Day in 2026 the slogan was «عزّنا بطبعنا» (roughly, "Our glory is in our nature"), announced on 27 July 2026. The 2027 identity hadn't been announced at the time of writing, so watch the GEA site.

Second, the flag. Saudi Arabia's Law of the Flag prohibits using the national flag as a trademark or for commercial advertising purposes. The flag carries the Shahada and is treated with particular respect, so keep it out of commercial ads and don't ask an AI model to generate it.

02What to say in a Saudi National Day video

The best National Day greetings tie the business to a value people recognise, without turning into a loud sales pitch. On the day, people want pride and belonging; a spot that just shouts "50% off" gets scrolled past. Separate the content into types:

• Lead with meaning, not product: generosity, ambition, the land, the people, the values in that year's slogan.
• Connect your business honestly: a café talks about hospitality, a school about ambition, a delivery firm about reaching every corner.
• Keep the brand part short: one or two sentences, the rest is the greeting.
• End on the greeting and your name: not a price or a link.

04Scenes: what to ask the AI for, and what to avoid

• Real people without permission: no images of officials or celebrities, and don't ask AI to generate them.
• Mixed dialect: a Najdi script with Egyptian or Levantine words sounds fake; write in one dialect and check it with a native speaker.

A short, sincere greeting usually beats a big production. Two honest sentences in a warm Saudi voice over beautiful scenes are enough to tell customers you're one of them and celebrating with them.
