The problem

A large Arabic audience your video never reaches

Arab viewers spend a lot of time on YouTube, but they skip a video they cannot follow within the first ten seconds.

  1. Auto-translated captions help a little, yet most viewing happens on a phone, and reading on a small screen pushes people out of a fifteen-minute video.

  2. Re-shooting in Arabic is not an option if you do not speak it. A dubbing studio may charge more for one episode than the episode earns back, and deliver it days after your upload date.

  3. One decision comes before all of that: do you add Arabic as an audio track on the same video, so views and comments stay in one place, or open an Arabic channel with Arabic titles and thumbnails? Each route needs a different file.

Why Vocla

Why Vocla's studio suits YouTube channels

  • An audio file ready for the language track

Download the dub as MP3 or WAV at the full length of the video and add it as the Arabic track from the video's settings in your channel, if multi-language audio is enabled for you.

  • A full MP4 for an Arabic channel

If you prefer a separate channel, export the video with the Arabic track, with burned-in Arabic subtitles if you want them for viewers on mute, and upload it like any other video.

  • A voice for every speaker

In podcasts, interviews and challenge videos the studio detects who speaks when and gives each speaker a library voice that matches their gender and the dialect. Swap any voice you do not like.

  • Your own voice, in Arabic

From the Starter plan your voice can be cloned from the video, so the Arabic version speaks in the tone your subscribers know. Guests are cloned only with their written permission.

  • Lines cut to the rhythm

YouTube edits move fast. Lines that run past their slot show up in the problems panel, where you ask for shorter wording and review the suggestion before applying it.

How it works

How to dub a video from your channel

  1. Step 1

    Pick the videos worth dubbing

Start with videos that do not age: tutorials, reviews, stories. News and vlogs lose their value before the dub is finished. Check that the video is within your plan's length limit.

  2. Step 2

    Upload the original file

Use the file you exported from your editor rather than a screen recording of it, then choose the spoken language and the Arabic dialect.

  3. Step 3

Review the intro and the outro first

The first thirty seconds decide whether a viewer stays, and the subscribe line at the end is what you want from them. Read both carefully and set the delivery to excited wherever the original is.

  4. Step 4

Choose the file by how you publish

For an audio track on the same video, turn on Keep background and download the audio. For an Arabic channel, download the MP4, plus the Arabic SRT if you want subtitles viewers can switch off.

  5. Step 5

Upload it and write the title in Arabic

You upload from your own account; there is no direct connection between Vocla and YouTube. Write an Arabic title and description, because Arab viewers search in their own language.

Cost

What does dubbing a YouTube video cost?

Dubbing is available on paid plans only. A monetised channel is commercial use, so it needs Starter or higher: $4.99 a month, with videos of up to 10 minutes each. Professional raises the limit to 30 minutes and Business to 60.

Credits are charged on the characters spoken plus a small processing fee per minute, so a talk-heavy video costs more than one of the same length that is half silent b-roll. You see the figure before rendering, and fixing two lines afterwards does not charge the whole video again.

Compare plans

The numbers

  • Not available on the Free plan; included in every paid plan.
  • Longest video per project: 10 minutes on Starter, 30 on Professional and 60 on Business.
  • Rendering uses credits for the characters voiced plus a small per-minute processing fee. The exact cost is shown before you render, and re-renders only charge for the lines you changed.
  • Commercial usage rights and WAV export start with Starter: $4.99 a month with 5,000 credits.

Figures use the current plans and default credit rates. The exact cost is always shown in the app before you confirm.

Publishing this for a business?

The Free plan is for personal use and evaluation. Audio and video you publish for a brand, a client or a monetised channel need commercial usage rights, which start with the Starter plan.

Questions people ask

Can I dub a YouTube video into Arabic?

Yes, if the video is yours or you hold the right to dub it. Download the original file from your channel or your editor, upload it to the studio, choose the dialect, then review the lines and export. Dubbing is part of the paid plans, not the Free plan.

How do I add an Arabic audio track to a published video?

Export the dub as an audio file the same length as the video, then add it from the video's page in your channel dashboard, under languages and audio tracks. YouTube offers this feature to channels on its own terms; if you do not see it, upload a separate Arabic version instead.

Does Vocla publish the video to my channel?

No. There is no connection between Vocla and YouTube, and we never ask for access to your channel. You download the file and upload it yourself, which keeps the title, description, thumbnail and schedule fully in your hands.

Which Arabic dialect is best for a YouTube channel?

Check your channel analytics for the Arab countries your viewers already come from. If one country dominates, use its dialect. If they are spread out, Egyptian suits light content and Modern Standard Arabic suits informative content. You can duplicate the project into a second dialect in one click and compare.

Can I use the dub on a monetised channel?

Yes, on Starter or higher, the plans that include commercial usage rights. Whether a video is accepted for monetisation is decided by YouTube's own policies, so it is worth reading what they require for dubbed and AI-generated content.

Will the mouth movements match the Arabic audio?

No. The dub is a voice-over timed to the original lines, with no lip-sync. The difference shows in close-ups of a face and nearly disappears in screen recordings, wide shots and content narrated over footage.
