Audio deepfake

In Arabic: التزييف الصوتي العميق

Voices, cloning and ethics

AI-generated audio that puts words in a real person's mouth they never said, in order to deceive, defraud or defame. What separates it from legitimate cloning is consent and transparency.

Example: A voice note imitating a CEO and asking for an urgent transfer is a deepfake, which is why finance teams verify payment requests through a second channel.
